  • HVAC Lead Installation Technician

    Job Description:
    The Lead Installation Technician is considered a “key” crew member and will act as the leader of a two-man installation crew. The Lead Installer must be a role model for the apprentice, by demonstrating Johnson and Johnson Heating and Air Conditioning’s core competencies of quality, efficiency and customer service. Instilling the listed core competencies will be done by teaching and guiding the apprentice when performing job duties.

    The Lead Installer will ultimately be held responsible, by management, for the quality and execution of the overall installation and ensure that job meets or exceeds Johnson and Johnson Heating and Air Conditioning’s standards.

    The Lead must possess knowledge in regards to the installation of various HVAC systems.

    The Lead will be expected to read the installation manuals that pertain to the equipment prior to performing the job, to guarantee the proper installation is achieved.

    It will be the Lead Technician’s responsibility to obtain and maintain all necessary hand and power tools needed to perform job duties/tasks.

    The Lead Technician will be expected to perform over-time, when requested by management, in order to complete jobs.

    The Lead Technician must show a willingness to learn and be trained on new systems/ equipment and be proactive with management, with respect to said training. (Training will be expected and required for this position)

    The Lead Technician must adhere to Johnson and Johnson Heating and Air Conditioning‘s high standards of customer service, by explaining to the customer what type of system is installed in their home and how it operates. The technician will also be expected to provide all proper paperwork to said customer e.g. installation/operational manuals, such as but are not limited to, indoor units, outdoor units, thermostats, warranty information and any other documentation required by the office.

    The Lead must ensure that all office paperwork is filled out and returned to the office in accordance with paperwork procedures per management.

    The Lead must obtain unit stickers and place said stickers in the associated customer’s folder before units leave the warehouse for installation.

    The Lead must keep work truck clean, organized and well stocked. It will also be the technician’s responsibility to report to management when the work truck is due for maintenance e.g. oil change, tires change and inspection due.

    The Lead will be expected to maintain all necessary licenses to perform job duties e.g. valid driver license, state HVAC license, refrigerant license, and any other applicable licenses.

    Entry level educational requirements
    (Minimum of high school diploma or GED):
    Graduate from an accredited trade school, college or university is a plus, but not a required.

    Job Description:
    The Sales Associate at Lowe’s will be responsible for representing Johnson & Johnson Heating and Air Conditioning in a professional and approachable manner. The employee will generate leads from three Lowe’s locations; one store in Martinsburg and two stores Hagerstown. The employee will be expected to engage with Lowe’s shoppers in order to build report, discuss products offered, inform the customer of promotional offers, and answer any other questions they may have pertaining to heating and air conditioning.

    Responsibilities:
    Will be expected to discuss HVAC products and answer generic questions regarding equipment.
    Must be attentive to customers.
    Will be responsible for gathering and obtaining customer information/ possible “leads.”
    Will be expected to turn in Lead Sheets on a weekly basis.
    Openly communicating with Lowe’s employees and sales associates.
    Openly communicate with Johnson & Jonson’s Comfort Advisor.
    Will be responsible for passing along lead information to the lead coordinator at the store.
    Sundays are required.
